SAIL was founded to act effectively by connecting players in the healthcare chain – from the academy to the industry – and reducing the gaps that hinder the clinical development in the country.
As a healthcare innovation hub, we attract investments to develop translational capacity, leading end-to-end projects that impact the chain continuously and collectively and that enable LATAM to be a self-sufficient region in all phases of clinical development.
We’re fortifying our capabilities by bringing together a team of individuals with distinguished backgrounds and extensive experiences. Unified by a shared mission, each member is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on
public health.

Our Founder
Marina Domenech is a regional leader on Public Health and Sustainability. For the past years she has been an important voice for the healthcare ecosystem in LATAM.
Graduated in Administration and with an MBA in Business Logistics Management, Marina worked with sales, marketing, logistics, supply chain and strategic planning. Her restlessness and desire to play new roles and learn about other segments, in addition to the possibility of impacting lives, led Marina to enter the healthcare market.
After leading important clinical development projects, it was clear that disparities and disconnections in the health chain directly affected the possibility of Brazil to become a reference in clinical development. The need of having a focal point to connect all players in the health chain led her to found SAIL for Health.
By amplifying the concept of One Health, created by the United Nations – in which People’s health and the Planet’s must go together – Marina is an active voice for the Brazilian and Latin American health chain, and her activity is already being successful in the transformation of the region’s innovation ecosystem.
